Alberta Supervisor Safety Responsibilities for Home Care
This 45-minute training prepares supervisors to support Alberta OHS compliance across home care and community-based operations. The course focuses on supervisor accountability within the Internal Responsibility System, hazard assessment and follow-up in dynamic home environments, and supporting workers in applying safe work procedures.
Learners will also explore how to respond to reported hazards, incidents, near-misses, and a worker’s right to refuse dangerous work — along with how to document training, incidents, and corrective actions in a way that supports both compliance and a strong culture of safety.
