This course examines the supervisory responsibilities outlined in British Columbia’s Residential Care Regulation, including staff oversight, coordination of care, delegation of responsibilities, emergency leadership, and maintaining continuity of operations when managers are absent. Learners will explore practical approaches to coaching staff, monitoring performance, managing unusual situations, supporting interdisciplinary communication, and fostering respectful workplace culture.
